Leavers Party

Saturday night saw a rather large group of JETs taking over Shimonoseki and Mojiko, and being a pretty rowdy addition to the local trains! Yes, it was the big one, our leavers party. It was a great night, and truly felt like a great send off for those of us leaving this beautiful ken. I think I peaked a little early (curses to my own personal jug of white wine!), and therefore tried to slow down considerably when we reached our second venue. I wanted to remember a great night, not wake up in the morning with no recollection of my leaving party! I succeeded and really enjoyed all parts of the evening. Highlights of the night were an acting masterclass caught on camera (Kat, Hannah, Sarah, Dave, and Marko...how good were we!), the well-received zenzen awards, and generally just chatting, hanging out with, and hugging (this was at my peak!) lots of lovely people who I might not see again for quite some time. Cheers to the ajet girls for organising a great night!
