Exploring inaka

Yesterday Ellen and I had a lovely afternoon driving around Kaminoseki (a very rural town close to Yanai). The sun was shining, the weather was warm, and it was great to drive around the beautiful countryside, past paddy fields, stunning views, the picturesque coastline, and fishing and farming weather-beaten locals! It's always great to explore a new area, as it it an instant reminder of how lucky we are to live in such a pretty area of Japan.
