Back on track!
Whoooo...Tokyo is done! So what else have I been up to the last couple of weeks?...well, in no particular order...
1. Visited Hiroshima, Miyajima and Kintaikyo with Zeenat, before she departed for Kyoto.
2. Onsened in Yuda, and enjoyed the fabluous salt sauna twice, after arguing with Alex about whose hands felt the softest!
3. Had a yummy Easter sunday lunch with pals round at Potter-chan's. Alex and I spent the morning making chocolatey things (easy-peasy cornflake buns from me, and delish chocolate mousses from her), and when we realised we couldn't think of any Easter songs, we decided to just sing 'Little Donkey' instead. A real fun day!
4. Relaxed shopping, Andersons and purikura in Hiroshima with Hannah, Kat and Ellen. The perfect way to spend a saturday!
5. Dinner at Ton Ton (fabulous tonkatsu) 2 fridays in a row...I'm a creature of habit, what can I say!
6. Watched Brokeback Mountain round at Kat's. Really liked the film, and shed a tear or two, but I don't think it quite lives up to the hype. A stunning, moving film, however, especially if you enjoy watching Heath Ledger mumble!
7. Have lost a school (bye bye Oshima), and gained an imbecile of a new JTE...but that's for another blog! Have also been given the awful team-teaching partner of the moron who I taught with in my early JET days! He isn't any better, but I'm now more relaxed in the classroom, and therefore take it upon myself to embarrass him at any opportunity I get!
8. Have booked my flight home to Blighty (via 9 nights in Malaysia and Singapore...whoooo!), and have also been accepted onto International House's CELTA course in Prague. So, August in England for playing...and September in Prague for studying! After that...I just hope someone will employ me!
9. Have done a huge spring-clean, and have been quite ruthless in throwing out half of the contents of my spare room! Despite this, I am still probably going to send 3 boxes of 'stuff' home to England before I leave.
10. Have surprised myself at just how enthusiastic and relaxed I am this term in the classroom. Maybe it's because I know I'm off soon...or maybe it's just that I've developed as a teacher, and now know how to act/behave in class with ease. Who knows! Probably a bit of both. All I know is that I've taught some of my best ever classes in the last 2 weeks! I think it's going to be a great final term!

If I sat down and made a list like this, I would probably be able to see why I have less than no $ !!!
