The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men ....

Well I didn't get to sumo! I had been looking forward to it for ages...had booked accommodation well in advance...and was generally really quite excited about the whole weekend. Unfortunately, the universe had other ideas, gave me a stinking cold, and led me to spend the whole weekend in bed feeling sorry for myself! But, you know what..I'm a great believer in fate, and what's meant to be...yadda yadda yadda...for whatever reason I just wasn't meant to see sumo this weekend. Ah well...maybe one day! Maybe I'll bring my family to Japan one day, and force them to go to sumo, just so i can tick it off the list that I made in 2005, aged 23.

p.s I promised I would do this so....Ms Alex Potter cheered me up on saturday 19th november. She called to see how I was, and her usual random/deep/unique insights and ideas cheered me up! Thanks Alex!
