My name in print
On thursday I had the day off (cos I'm in school today), and so I took myself off to Hiroshima. Whilst browsing around the foreign-book section in the Sogo's bookshop, I spied the brand spanking new edition of Japan Lonely Planet. "Ooh...I wonder..." I thought. You see about 5 months ago I sent a nice long rambling e-mail to the folk at Lonely Planet, encouraging them to feature more of our wonderful Yamaguchi-ken. I even gave the white-walled streets of Yanai a mention!! I knew that they probably wouldn't give the area any more coverage (as its hardly on the tourist trail!), but I also read that contributions and feedback were welcome, and would result in your name being printed in the next edition! That would be cool, I thought! And lo and behold, in this new edition of LP, in the Contributions / Acknowledgements section, my name is listed along with hundreds of other wannabe writers/travellers! Yey!

Maybe I will write this year... Lets see if they can finally mention Yanai... and me!
I think you should buy the new addition just to keep your name.
