Gone but not forgotten!!!!!!!

Flippin Japan and it's 'seasonal' food! Yesterday I had 2 food disappointments, that left me fuming for about...oooh...20 minutes (and again now!). My 'new favourite thing' as featured in my blog on Monday has gone...gone....gone! The gorgeous creation at Baskin Robbins...Orange and Passionfruit sorbet...has disappeared...until maybe next september! It turns out it was one of September's flavours, and now has a big star sticker covering it on the menu, as the October flavours move in to try and snatch its glory. Never!...nothing will beat it! I was a little sad when I saw it had gone, and then felt even 'sadder'when I realised that I was sad about a missing sorbet! Pull yourself together Lauren, I thought. But then I was dealt a second blow. I headed off to Hokka Hokka Tei (Japanese takeaway place), to buy something for a lazy dinner. I was soooo looking forward to the steak on rice combo that I had tried previously. It was lovely, and came with a cute little sachet of black pepper, and some lush steak sauce. And whatdoyouknow...it's gone!! Off the menu...not even replaced by something exciting and new (maybe October is low-season for Hokka Hokka). Well sorbet and steak thingy...you were good while you lasted. I'll tell the new ALT to look out for you next September!
