Check-up

It's that time of year again at my school, where all the teachers get their annual health check, and I worry that I'll have to think of a good reason to refuse a bloodtest or barium meal. This year, however, it appears that I have nothing at all to worry about! Last year I only had to have a hearing test, which consisted of the doctor saying 'Roren desu ka?', and me replying 'hai', and he signed my form. Great hearing tests Japan! Nice one! But I figured it was because I had only been here a couple of months, and that this year they would try to get me to have the full MOT. But nope...just the hearing test...again! As it turns out, however, Im not at my base school on the right day, and so the school nurse just said, 'it's ok, i say doctor you are fine'. There you go, health check-up over and done with! I'm still bracing myself to explain why I don't want the chest x-ray when that comes round in spring! Wish me luck!
