Beautiful Oshima

I go over to the lovely island of Oshima every two weeks. One of my schools is there, and although it's definitely not my favourite school, it's always nice to have a small break away from Yanai. However, I don't often get the chance to look around me and realise how lucky I am to visit such a beautiful place on a regular basis. This weekend, however, with a BBQ at Chris' last night, and a trip to the Jamaican cafe, and then the beach this afternoon, I have had the chance to really take in how gorgeous the place is. Of course, it helped that we had a beautifully sunny and warm day today, and that I was going there for pleasure, rather than work, but it was great to see Oshima in all its glory, and remember not to take the beauty of my surroundings for granted.
