Yamaguchi-ken

This is for the folks at home, who are wondering what my lovely ken (prefecture) looks like. There are lots of mountains (well...big hills!), rice fields, and windy narrow roads. It's certainly different to my previous home, next to a busy York road, above Betty's Brown Wigs, next to the chippy!! Oh those were the days! Although, don't get the wrong idea...this is not the view from my apartment or anything! This is on a lovely drive between my friend Ellen's house, and a supermarket that has the best orange ice lollies in the world...fact!

Beautiful, Loz-san and good use of the new image upload ;-) Why didn't you introduce me to these ice lollies though? I had to make do with choc ice cream on station platforms. Heatwave!

I thought you were being rather over enthusiastic about the lollies. until i tried them. its like a little bit of heaven on a wooden stick.
