Courage
On the 1st year's English mid-term exam, they were asked to write about when they need courage! A lot of students wrote about needing courage to raise their hand in class, or to give up their seat for an elderly person on the train...but, of course, there were also a few little gems!
"I need courage when I say 'I love you' to my favourite someone. Because I am embarrassed." Bless!
"I need courage when I go to the hospital because the doctor is strong." Does he lift weights or something?
"I need courage when I go to my room at night. Because I don't like night." Get a grip, you're 16!
"I need courage when I am very hard and I am very happy." Oh dear!
