ALT and part-time baker!

It seems that word has spread of my successful (?) scone-baking lesson! The teacher at my base-school who I run English club with, has just approached me and asked if we can bake scones here with the students. She said she heard that I did a great Afternoon Tea lesson in Oshima, and wants to do the same here in club-time! Wowee..there's some kind of underground foreign baked-goods grapevine here in Yanai! If only they also knew how biscuit-like the Oshima scones turned out in the end, maybe they would not be so quick to want to try it again! Oh well...fingers crossed! My expectations are not high this time, and so as long as they taste good (whether scone-like, biscuit-like, or anything-like), Im still going to congratulate the students, and force them to eat their scones with butter and jam!

If anyone has a truly great scone recipe, I would be very happy to give a new one a whirl, and see if we get better results!
