At least they wrote something!

My first year students at my base school had to complete two writing exercises yesterday. In the first part, they were supposed to write about exams and studying in Japan....However, a couple of students decided to use the opportunity to write about something else....ME!

Mr Yoshizaki :
"I like you (heart) and I like soccer. And I like your hair. But I have never seen a soccer game live. Please take me to Ingland."

Mr Murakami :
"I like you (heart) My heart will go on. Every night in my dreams. I see you, I feel you, that is how I know you go on."

*This month in class we are singing Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On'...it's obviously had a strong influence on some people!*

In the second part, they were supposed to write about studying English, or their favourite memory from the school year...bu oh no...it continued!....

Mr Yoshizaki :
"I like you, ok. I will take you Ingland. Tonight it all began tonight I saw you and the world went away. There’s only you tonight what you are…what you do….what you say…ah!! Ms Kato is an Angel. She is prety. But Lauren is more pretier than Ms Kato."

Mr Murakami :
"I like you. My heart will go on. My heart will stop in future, ahaaaaa…"

*They are also studing West Side Story in Music, so they also know the lyrics to 'Tonight'!*

I was showing it to Kato-sensei (who I team-teach with), and we were having a laugh about it...until she then decided to write it on the board for the rest of the class to read!!! I was mortified, and im sure I went red! Luckily, the boys didn't look in the least bit embarrassed..and actually looked quite proud of their creativity.
